1. Introduction
Our website is subject to the following terms and conditions.
a. These are the only terms of business for Landz Cleaning Ltd, and they shall govern all transactions between Landz Cleaning Ltd and its clients.
b. These terms and conditions of business take precedence over and supersede any terms and conditions referred to, offered, or relied on by the Client whether in negotiation or at any stage of dealings between Landz Cleaning Ltd and the Client in relation to the service provided by Landz Cleaning Ltd to the Client as specified in this Agreement (the"Service").
c. Unless the context indicates otherwise, solitary references include the plural and masculine references include the feminine and vice versa.
d. These Terms and Conditions' headers are just for convenience and do not alter their interpretation.
e. By using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in their entirety; if you do not agree with these terms and conditions or any portion thereof, you must not use our website.
2. Copyright Notice
a. All copyright and other intellectual property rights in our website and the information on our website are owned and controlled by Landz Cleaning Ltd.
3. Acceptable Use
You must not:
a. Use our website in any manner or take any action that damages or threatens to harm the website or impairs its performance, availability, or accessibility.
b. Use our website for any purpose or activity that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any purpose or activity that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful;
c. Use our website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, utilise, publish, or distribute any material containing (or linked to) spyware, computer viruses, Trojan horses, worms, keystroke loggers, rootkits, or other harmful computer software.

4. Definitions
The following meanings apply to these Terms of Business:
a. The "Company" refers to Landz Cleaning Ltd. The "Cleaner" or "Cleaning Operative" refers to the person or company that performs cleaning services for the Company.
b. The term "customer" or "client" refers to the person, business, or corporate body, as well as any subsidiary or related company, as defined by the Companies Act 1985, to whom the Company provides cleaning services.
c. "Customer's Address" refers to the location where the cleaning service has been ordered by the Customer.
d. "Service" refers to all cleaning services performed on the Company's behalf.
e. "Visit" – refers to the Cleaner's visit to the Customer's address to perform the service on the day and time agreed upon with the Customer at the time of booking.
5. Contract
a. These Terms and Conditions constitute the agreement between the Company and the Client.
b. Each party must ensure that their respective obligations under this agreement are carried out in accordance with all applicable laws and norms of conduct.
c. Customer accept that any use of the Company's services, including making an order by telephone, email, internet forms, or social media, constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
d. Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by a director of the Company, these Terms & Conditions shall take precedence over the Customer's terms of business or purchase conditions.
e. No changes to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless agreed in writing by a director of the company.
6. Quotations
a. All quotes are provided by the Company in response to a request from the Customer and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
b. Should the Customer's original needs alter or the Company believes the quote criteria have been misrepresented, the Company maintains the right to revise the first quotation.
7. Equipment
a. The Company or Cleaner is responsible for providing all cleaning products and equipment required to perform the job. Unless
otherwise agreed, the Customer is not responsible for providing supplies or tools.
b. The Customer is responsible for providing running water, power, and enough lighting at the location where the service will be performed.
8. Payment
a. For further information about BACS payments, please contact our office (Landz Cleaning for bank account number and sort code).
b. Please follow the instructions on our website for card payments or contact the office for further information.
c. If payment is not received within 30 days of receipt of invoice, the account will be turned over to our collection agency. For any account that the Company must send to collection, the Company has the right to levy a £40 administrative fee in addition to the sum outstanding.
d. Please keep in mind that debt collection agencies may impose fees on top of the unpaid balance.
e. Gift cards bought from our website with our unique reference number can be redeemed and used as payment for our services.
9. Cancellation
a. Carpet Cleaning - The customer may cancel the booked cleaning work up to twenty-four hours prior to the scheduled start time. Customer agrees to pay a cancellation charge equal to 20% of the advertised amount if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the booked time. Customer agrees to pay 50% of the indicated amount as a cancellation charge in the case that there is no one home/premises to allow the cleaners in, there is no water or electricity available at Customer's premises, or there is an issue with Customer's keys.
10. Complaints & Claims
a. All services will be regarded to have been performed to the Customer's satisfaction until the Company receives written notification within twenty-four hours with specifics of the complaint. All complaints must be sent in writing through email within twenty-four hours after service completion. The Company shall thoroughly examine any complaint and make every effort to resolve it to the Customer's satisfaction or a fair standard.
b. The Company demands the presence of the Customer or his representative at the start and finish of each cleaning session so that an inspection can be conducted and any necessary changes may be made on the same day.
c. The Customer undertakes to let the Company to re-clean any disputed areas/items before attempting to clean such areas/items themselves or arranging for a third party to perform cleaning or repair services in relation to the aforementioned. Our Company Guarantee shall be null and invalid if this condition is not met, and the Company will consider the case resolved. If payment has not been received in full or if the Customer has discontinued payment, the Company will immediately submit the account to a collection agency.
d. Due to the nature of the service, the Customer accepts that the Company will only promise to remedy any issues notified within 24 hours after service completion.
e. The Customer undertakes to evaluate the job promptly after its completion and bring any lingering cleaning concerns to the notice of the operator while they are still on-site. The employees will do any such extra work to the full satisfaction of the Customer.
f. If the Customer or any third person directed by the Customer is not present during the cleaning service, then no cleaning-related claims may be filed.
g. Customer accepts and understands that claims submitted within the 24-hour window do not cover services or areas not mentioned in the approved estimate. Any claims made for services or regions not included in an official, approved estimate will be ruled invalid and the contract will be deemed settled.
h. While Company employees make every effort to avoid breaking products, accidents can occur. Always identical replacement is sought, but it is not guaranteed. The Company requires that any irreplaceable artifacts (whether financially or sentimentally precious) be kept and/or not cleaned by the cleaning staff.
i. In the event of damage, the Company will pay to have the item repaired. If the item cannot be repaired, the Company will remedy the situation by crediting the Customer with the item's current real monetary worth toward a replacement upon receipt of payment for cleaning services.
j. The Company is not liable for any damage caused by defective and/or incorrect installation of any product, or by any action taken by the Customer.
k. If the Customer has an outstanding balance, claims will not be accepted.
l. The Company and the Insurance Providers will pursue to the fullest extent of the law any attempt to conduct insurance fraud or use of false information to perpetrate any sort of fraud. Financial recompense and legal expenditures may be incurred.
11. Insurance
a. Damages caused by a cleaning operator working on behalf of the Company are covered by the Company's Public Liability Insurance if notified within 24 hours of the service date. Treatment Risk coverage is also included in the insurance. An excess of £250 applies to all claims.
12. Customer Satisfaction
a. Customer acknowledges that he or she has no right to a refund.
b. If a cleaning job does not meet the Customer's expectations, the Company will re-clean any areas or objects to the Customer's
satisfaction. As a result, the Customer must consent to the Cleaning Operative's return.
c. During the recuperation, the customer must be present at all times. The Company retains the right to refuse a Cleaner's return if it has been returned before.
13. Liability
The Company will not be responsible under any circumstances for any loss, expenditure, damage, delay, charges, or compensation (whether direct, indirect, or consequential) that may be incurred by the Customer as a result of or in connection with:
a. Its inability to provide its services is attributable to reasons outside its control. Uncontrollable elements include unanticipated occurrences, floods, extreme weather conditions, difficulty to acquire access to buildings, and lack of sufficient resources, such as water, power, and illumination.
b. Cleaning Personnel arrived late at the service address. The Company strives to be punctual on every visit, but owing to transport-related and other issues beyond its control, operatives may arrive late or the cleaning visit may be delayed.
c. Existing damage to the Client's property in the form of old stains, burns, scrapes, dents, etc. that cannot be entirely cleaned/removed by the cleaning operative using the industry standard cleaning procedures.
d. Client or third party walking on wet floors or used appliances during or immediately after the cleaning procedure, resulting in an unsatisfactory service outcome.
e. The Company shall not be responsible for any damages worth less than £50.00.
f. The Company shall not be liable for any odours arising during and/or after cleaning when this is caused by factors such as lack of ventilation and/or appropriate heating.
g. The Company shall not be liable for any odours that may arise during and/or after cleaning when this is due to factors such as a lack of ventilation and/or appropriate heating; The Company shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, expense, damage, delay, costs, or compensation (whether direct, indirect, or consequential) that may be suffered or incurred by the Client if the Client has an outstanding balance that is 30 days or more past due.
14. Liability
○ A £50.00 minimum fee applies to all carpet and upholstery cleaning services.
○ The mentioned price does not include parking or congestion costs.
○ A £10.00 fee will be charged for keys retrieved by the Company's operatives from an address outside the postal code of the Client's address. The fee will solely cover the cost of picking up the keys. Returning the key to the original location will incur an additional fee of £10.
○ If any estimates of how long it will take the cleaning operatives to complete the job are provided, they are only estimates based on the average time it takes to clean a home of similar size to the Client's, as it is difficult to predict how long such tasks will take and some flexibility may be required.
○ Due to Occupational Health & Safety laws, only furniture that can be moved by one person will be attempted.
○ All objects that are delicate or easily broken must be secured or removed.
○ During the duration of the work, the Client or his representative should guarantee that all valuables are stowed away and that the property is watched by the Client or his representative at all times. The Client's failure to comply with this commitment is not the Company's responsibility.
○ The Company maintains the right to amend any aspect of these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. The Company has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any changes or additions will only apply to new business, not current contracts. Please refer to your copy of the Terms & Conditions for further information.
